My mission is to advocate for our community’s needs and aspirations, making sure that every parent, student, and educator has a seat at the table.
Why Barbara?
I am a lifelong resident of Covina. I attended Traweek Middle School and graduated from Covina High School.
As a parent, I have been actively involved in the Covina Unified School District, volunteer in the classroom, support our athletic teams, and work with our PTA. My strong relationships with teachers, staff, and parents have given valuable insights into the needs of our schools. My commitment to our schools has always been a priority, and I am not afraid to advocate for what is right and voice my concerns for the betterment of the CVUSD and for the community I love. I am proudly endorsed by the Covina Unified Education Association (CUEA) & Covina-Valley Association of School Psychologists (CVASP). I stand firm in support for strong, effective education and labor rights. My campaign is also backed by the PAC “A Better Covina Valley Together,” reflecting a broad coalition of community support. I am dedicated to improving our local schools, strengthening community ties, and ensuring a brighter future for all residents.

Meet the Campos Family
Barbara Campos and her husband, Eric, are high school sweethearts who proudly graduated from Covina High School. They chose to raise their family in Covina, maintaining a strong connection with their alma mater.
Barbara and Eric are the proud parents of four wonderful children. Their family includes their eldest daughter, who is currently in her second year of college; their middle daughter, who is in the 6th grade; their son, who is 3 years old; and their youngest, a baby girl.
The Campos family’s strong bond and shared values are at the heart of Barbara’s vision for a brighter future for our community.
